**Ice Road Update**

Due to the fluctuating temperatures and the condition of our ice road we have closed our road to all vehicles.  We are NO LONGER allowing mid-size SUV's out and we have put restrictions on wheel house sizes--NO bigger than 17' wheel houses will be allowed out.  These houses must be hauled out with an ATV or side by side.

Once again, our ice road is only open to ATVs, side-by-sides, and snowmobiles.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  We will keep you posted on when we will be opening the road back up to larger vehicles. Our number one concern is the safety of our customers.  Thank you and Good Luck!

ICE AND FISHING REPORT

The much anticipated report is in--we have anywhere from 13.5-19" of ice on our road.

Our road is now open to midsize SUVs, such as Jeeps, Trailblazers, Explorers, etc. These vehicles are able to pull out any size wheel house--we have lifted all restrictions on wheelhouse sizes. At this time we are NOT allowing 1/2 ton trucks out.  We will hopefully be opening our road to 1/2 ton trucks on Friday, December 30th.

The bite is still hot in 22-25'--lots of eaters and nice slot Walleyes!  Orange/gold and pink/gold have been the hot colors!

Thank you for your patience!  Have fun and be safe!

Updated Ice and Fishing Report

Groups are doing well across the board!  Anywhere from 15-25' has been producing nice eaters and slot Walleyes.  Great fishing all around and depth hardly seems to play a part.  Groups in shallow are dealing with some slush under the ice, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the activity.

We currently have 11-16" of ice.  We're still only allowing ATVs, side by sides, and snowmobiles out.  However, we have opened our road up to 16' wheel houses.  These houses MUST be pulled out by an ATV or side by side.  We'd like to see a little more consistency in ice thickness before we allow larger vehicles out.

Be safe, have fun, and good luck!
