IT WAS A WEEKEND FOR THE BOOKS!!

The weather was absolutely beautiful, but the fishing wasn't as fast and furious as it was earlier in the month/week. The bite has been the best early in the morning and in the late afternoon. Our guest's did the best anchored and jigging with frozen shiners. On Monday the best results came from over by Zipple Bay in 18-24' of water. Also, a few boats picked up their limits in Morris Point gap and Lighthouse gap anywhere from 9-20' of water. Memorial day weekend! Yay!! The weather is awesome and the fishing is great! Come hang out at Cyrus during this long weekend! We are so excited for opener! We drove a boat down Bostic Creek yesterday trying to get to the lake. We saw open water but couldn't get to it due to ice that had blown in. On the other side of the ice we could see open water that seemed to be about a mile out. We are expecting to be able to fish on the lake during opener in about 20 feet of water. We are eager to see everyone for the opening weekend May 10th and we will continue to keep you informed on conditions.

One of our server's Tracy caught this 70" Sturgeon last Sunday! The last day for that season is May 8th.
