Scattered methods are working this week. Down rigging and pulling spinners are filling limits with numbers of trophy walleye in the mix. Some resorts are headed North to Garden Island, West Bar or Hay Island in 22-24 feet. Others are staying close to Lighthouse Gap in 14-20 feet. Hammered gold still the go to color for spinners tipped with a leech or crawler.
A huge thank you to everyone for helping us enjoy ourselves and making this a summer we will never forget!!

Summer patterns holding true as we head into August. Downrigging getting good reports 20-36 feet using blue/silver or orange/gold shad raps or wally divers. Many anglers still having success near Garden Island. There are still good reports of drifting with hammered gold spinner tipped with crawlers. Try Pine Island 12-25′, out from Zippel Bay Gap in 35′, or the west bar of Garden Island in 18-20 feet. Shallow rocks, reefs, and island points having good numbers.
