After three straight days of rain we finally have a beautiful sunny day. We received a few inches of rain over those days which made the river and bay muddy. Once you get out past the gap the water clears up. The clear water in front of Pine Island has been today's hot spot. Fishing in 10-12 feet of water. Glow pink and chartreuse are, again, the best colors along with a frozen shiner. The number of keepers is increasing with slot fish and larger thrown into the mix.
The forcast going into the holiday weekend looks great! An average high of 64ยบ over the next four days with light winds and sunny skies.
