Great reports this week as anglers experience quick fills of limits with numbers of trophy walleye in the mix. Drifting with spinners the most common method. Try Stony Point, West Bar of Garden Island and Starren Shoal in 26-28′. Lighthouse Gap and Pine Island doing well in 8-16 feet. Reports of jigging 10-14. Mayflies have hatched, some reports of down rigging starting. Hammered gold the hot color still tipped with crawlers, leeches, or minnows. Northern pike in 6-8 feet along South Shore. Trolling with cranks most popular, good numbers on little river rockers and shad raps.
