A few of us spent our Christmas fishing! The ice conditions are great! There are a few spots everyone should slow down to travel safely and comfortably, but the ice is thick and smooth in the high traffic areas. If you like portable fishing with a wheeler or side by side right now is the time to do it! Christmas Eve two of our ice workers did some exploring and caught fish all day long; they were only two fish short of their limit. Christmas day the bite slowed down but we moved around a bunch and ended up keeping enough to eat and also caught a couple of nice slot fish!
