As of this afternoon there has been a large crack that has formed from Zipple Bay to Pine Island. This crack is a ways off shore, but the existing ice could also shift. We are advising NO TRAVEL on the ice either by wheeler or foot.
Tonight's weather is supposed to remain very cold, and stay below freezing tomorrow. Hopefully this will allow new ice to form quickly. We are still hoping to have people out this weekend in portables. If this changes, we will call those with reservations.
